The Ladue School District is going to voters on April 3rd to ask for a moderate increase in the education portion of the property tax rate to keep funding levels from falling further.

The district has been diligent in cutting costs in light of the decreased revenue by already cutting $7 million out of the budget over the last 2 years.

Now we are at a crossroads, further cuts will sharply impact the character and success of our schools and that can have a detrimental effect on our community. .

Help stop the further cuts by Supporting Proposition 1 on the April 3rd Ballot.

Here you can find detailed information and resources about the true need of Proposition 1

We’re here to dispel the rumors and prevent our community from slipping into mediocrity.

Mistakes do happen

Posstcard1In our mailing of March 8th we want to take this opportunity to correct a typographical error in presenting the rate information.

The rate expressed on the post card was presented in a cost per thousand; “$0.49/$1000″

The correct rate is a cost per hundred “$0.49/$100″

Commit2Ladue.org regrets the error and by no means intends to mislead the public. As noted on the “Who We Are” page, we are  “concerned parents and residents” and may we add; volunteers. We are not professional campaigners. We strive for the utmost in accuracy and truth, and intend to run a fact-based campaign.
